The pillar slowly shortened into a slender red-and-gold staff standing safely on its stone base.

悟空双手握住中段，先直直举起，再慢慢放下，没有碰到任何东西。

Wukong gripped the center with both hands, lifted it upright, and lowered it without touching anything.

龙王请他绕过三只软珊瑚标记。悟空把棒当手杖，一步一步走得很稳。

The Dragon King placed three soft coral markers. Wukong used the staff like a walking stick and moved carefully around them.

“再小一点。”金箍棒缩成绣花针大小，悟空把它安全藏在耳后。

“Smaller still.” The staff shrank to needle size, and Wukong tucked it safely behind his ear.

他们一起定下三条规则：不指向别人，不在窄处挥动，不用时就收好。

Together they made three rules: point it at no one, never swing it in tight spaces, and store it when unused.

悟空向龙王认真道谢，给这件宝物取名“如意金箍棒”。

Wukong thanked the Dragon King and named the treasure the Ruyi Jingu Bang.

回到花果山，悟空先把三条规则告诉群猴，才用金箍棒帮大家挪开挡路的枯木。

Back home, Wukong shared the three rules before using the staff to lever a fallen log away from the path.

真正可靠的力量来自清楚的规则：不对人挥舞、不逞强，并在不用时妥善收好。
