可是三人一练习就各顾各的：长棍碰倒水桶，木耙勾住彩带，圆铲把软球推得到处滚。

But each practiced alone: the long pole tipped a bucket, the wooden rake caught a ribbon, and the round spade sent soft balls rolling everywhere.

唐僧请他们先放下工具，说：“第一课不是挥得快，而是知道什么时候停、离别人多远。”

Tang Seng asked them to set the tools down. “The first lesson is not speed. It is knowing when to stop and how much space others need.”

悟空教大王子用长棍轻推高处的风铃，先慢后稳；只要风铃发出一声，就立刻停下。

Wukong taught the eldest prince to use the long pole to nudge a high chime—slowly, steadily, and stopping after one sound.

八戒教二王子用木耙整理落叶，沙僧教三王子用圆铲把软球送进篮子。三人都学会先看清周围。

Bajie taught the second prince to gather leaves with a wooden rake, while Sha Wujing showed the youngest how to guide soft balls into a basket. Each learned to check the space first.

最后一课要三人合作：长棍挂灯，木耙铺开彩布，圆铲稳住灯座，共同搭好一条节日灯廊。

The final lesson required teamwork: the pole hung lanterns, the rake spread colorful cloth, and the round spade steadied the bases as they built a festival walkway.

灯廊亮起时，三位王子向师父们行礼。他们明白，真正值得学习的是耐心、分寸和互相照应。

When the walkway glowed, the three princes bowed to their teachers. They understood that patience, control, and looking after one another were the real skills.

夜里，月光落在灯廊上。一只玉白色的小兔捡起桂花枝，朝天竺国的方向跳去，留下圆圆的月影。

That night, moonlight fell across the lantern path. A jade-white rabbit picked up an osmanthus branch and hopped toward Tianzhu Kingdom, leaving round moonlit prints.

学习本领不是模仿威风，而是先学规则、练习控制，并让不同长处安全合作。
