汉代有位琴师叫公明仪。他抱着古琴，来到绿油油的田野。

一头黄牛正低头吃草。公明仪坐下，弹起一支高雅的曲子。

A tawny cow grazed nearby. Gongming Yi sat down and began an elegant melody.

琴声时而轻柔，时而响亮，黄牛却只顾嚼着青草。

The music rose and softened, but the cow simply kept chewing the grass.

公明仪有点疑惑：“我的曲子这么好，它怎么不听呢？”

Gongming Yi wondered, “My melody is beautiful. Why is the cow not listening?”

他停下来观察，发现黄牛会留心虫鸣和远处的小牛叫声。

He stopped and watched. The cow noticed buzzing insects and the distant call of a calf.

于是，他弹出像微风、虫鸣和牛叫一样亲切的旋律。

So he shaped a friendly new melody from the breeze, tiny buzzing sounds, and a calf's gentle call.

黄牛抬头竖起耳朵。公明仪明白了：不看听众，就会变成对牛弹琴。

The cow raised her head and listened. Gongming Yi understood: ignore your audience, and even beautiful music may miss them.

从此，他先了解听众，再选择合适的曲子，沟通也变得更快乐。

From then on, he observed and listened first, then chose a tune his audience could understand.

沟通不能只顾自己会什么，还要观察和倾听，用对方能理解的方式表达。
