师徒来到通天河边的陈家庄。陈关保和一秤金提着莲花灯，却不敢靠近水面：河里的水灵要求他们在夜里把灯送到河心。

The travelers reached Chen Village beside the Tongtian River. Chen Guanbao and Yichengjin held lotus lanterns but stayed away from the water: a river spirit demanded that they deliver the lights to midstream at night.

师徒来到通天河边的陈家庄。陈关保和一秤金提着莲花灯，却不敢靠近水面：河里的水灵要求他们在夜里把灯送到河心。

那位“灵感大王”其实是一只爱热闹的金鱼水灵。他把河面变成泡泡迷宫，还宣布：“只有把八盏灯送到正确位置，庆典才开始！”

The River Inspiration Spirit was really a dramatic goldfish water spirit. He made a bubble maze and declared that the festival would begin only when eight lanterns reached the correct places.

唐僧说：“孩子不能去危险的水面，这件事由大人来做。”悟空和八戒接过灯，陈家兄妹留在岸上，用彩旗为他们指方向。

Children must not go onto dangerous water, Tang Monk said. The grown-ups will do this. Wukong and Bajie took the lanterns while the siblings stayed ashore and used colored flags to guide them.

悟空和八戒乘着结实的小筏出发。金鱼水灵升起一面泡泡墙：“第一题，怎样让八盏灯同时看见自己的倒影？”

Wukong and Bajie set out on a sturdy raft. The goldfish spirit raised a bubble wall. First puzzle: how can all eight lanterns see their reflections at once?

沙僧从岸边稳住长绳，悟空把金箍棒平放成灯架，八戒把灯排成一圈。水面像镜子一样，每盏灯都有了亮亮的倒影。

Sha Seng steadied a long rope from shore, Wukong laid his staff flat as a lantern rail, and Bajie arranged the lights in a circle. The river became a mirror, giving every lantern a bright reflection.

金鱼水灵又转出软软的旋涡，想把灯的顺序打乱。悟空看见旋涡总是三快一慢，八戒便按节拍调整船桨，稳稳穿过了泡泡路。

The goldfish spirit spun soft whirlpools to mix up the lanterns. Wukong noticed a rhythm—three quick, one slow—and Bajie matched it with the paddle, steering safely through the bubble path.

八盏灯终于落在正确位置。观音来到河边，告诉金鱼水灵：“庆典要让人开心，也要先问大家愿不愿意。”水灵低下头，答应跟她回去学习。

At last, all eight lanterns reached their places. Guanyin came to the river and told the goldfish spirit that a festival should bring joy and must respect everyone's choice. The spirit apologized and agreed to learn from her.

河面恢复平静，老鼋主动浮上来，愿意稳稳驮师徒过河。陈家兄妹在岸边挥灯告别。对岸花香阵阵——前面就是女儿国了。

The river grew calm, and the Old River Turtle volunteered to carry the travelers safely across. The siblings waved from shore. Fragrant blossoms drifted from the far bank—the Women's Kingdom lay ahead.

大人要主动保护孩子远离危险；遇到任性的要求，可以勇敢说不，再用智慧找出让每个人都安全的办法。

Adults should keep children away from danger. We can say no to unsafe demands and use courage and wisdom to find a solution that protects everyone.
